It is good to report that we are still swimming well into December in our covered pool.  The pool is a wonderful asset and we have not lost a day's swimming since the end of May.  Thank you for your support and, in particular, the community shop which donated generously so that the necessary improvements could be made.

Children in Need

Thank you to everyone who supported Children in Need recently.  We raised £859.73 for this very worthwhile cause.

Nativity Services

You are cordially invited to join us in one (or more) of our nativities in the Parish Church.  All services begin at 2pm.  A reminder of the dates:  Foundation Stage - Tuesday 11 December, Year 1 - Wednesday 12 December, Year 2 - Thursday 13 December, Years 3 and 4 - Friday 14 December and Years 5 and 6 - Monday 17 December.

Collection Point for Christmas Day Gifts

There will be a community lunch on Christmas Day organised by 'Befriended' and 'Hope'.  With lunch, the community will give a Christmas gift.  We will provide a large collection box in the school entrance.  If you can, and would like to, please provide a "gift" - an unwrapped item of non-perishable food such as biscuits, jams, cheese biscuits, chocolates or Christmas goodies, and place it in the box for us [read on]...

Christmas Jumper Day

On Friday 14th December, the children are invited to wear a Christmas jumper with their school uniform and bring a donation for Save the Children charity.

Inter-House Cross Country Competition

Well done to Matilda Jackson-Huff and Theo Brant who were the individual winners of the Inter-House Cross Country Competition - Langton House was the overall winner on the day. Good luck to all of our runners for Saturday morning's area championship.
