Science
The Science curriculum aims to develop all children’s knowledge, vocabulary and understanding of the world they live in. Our intent is for children to have a wide range of child-led, meaningful and practical scientific experiences. We provide opportunities that inspire pupils, showing them how science can make a positive impact on our world and inform children of careers in STEM subjects, including those who are currently under represented in the subject. With an increased focus on reasoning and high levels of personal subject knowledge, we aim to foster enquiring minds and further the understanding of all pupils. We make the most of our outdoor space, resources and stakeholders who are experts in scientific areas.
