Netball and Basketball

Visit of actress Judy Parfitt

We are very grateful to Judy for giving her time last Friday afternoon to plant the tree on the corner of Trinity Road and Cuckfield Road (courtesy of Hurstpierpoint Society) and, especially, for spending so long with our Year 6 pupils discussing her long and distinguished career and fielding their enthusiastic questions.

World Book Day

Thank you for your support of World Book Day.  The children (and staff) were superbly dressed as book characters and they had a most exciting day engaging in books.  Thanks also to those who came in to read during the afternoon and to those of you who attended the week-long book-fair.

Thank you for your generosity at our five Nativity Services.  As a result, we have been able to donate £421 each to the following five charities:  Cancervive, Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer, MS Society and Chestnut Tree House.

Swimming

We are very fortunate to be able to swim throughout the year in our covered swimming pool.  If you have not yet paid your annual contribution of £25 per child towards costs, please may we remind you to do this as soon as possible.  We hope that Foundation Stage pupils will be able to swim in the Summer term when the weather is warmer.
