FS- trip to Arundel WWT Minibeasts Safari
To inspire the children and stimulate their Summer Term learning, we have organised a trip to WWT Arundel on Monday 18th May 2026, where the children will have opportunity to be Pond Detectives and explore in a Minibeasts Safari through a range of educational activities.
The children will spend most of the day outside, so please ensure they wear sensible and comfortable shoes and that they have a waterproof coat with a hood. Children do not need to be in full uniform but please could they wear their school sweatshirt/cardigan. When we arrive, there will be an opportunity for children to have a mid-morning snack. We will take school fruit for this. Please provide a packed lunch with a drink in a plastic container (no fizzy drinks or nut/seed products please). Those who receive Free School Meals, a packed lunch will be ordered, should you not require this please advise the school office as soon as possible.
The cost of the trip will be £19.66. We need to ask for a voluntary contribution towards the cost of the transport and other expenses. If you pay online, we will take this as consent for your child to take part in the trip and as your agreement to the terms set out in the attached consent form. You will not need to complete the consent form. Alternatively, if you are paying by cash or debit card at the school office, please complete the link below. Cash payments should be labelled and placed in the trips box, debit card payments are now accepted at the school office and a receipt is provided. All payments are non-refundable unless the School cancels the trip.
We require all payments of your given method plus your consent form by Monday 4th May 2026 please. Although the contribution is voluntary, we need to point out that we do require contributions in order for the trip to go ahead. We appreciate that some families may find it particularly difficult to contribute all or part of the suggested sum and no child will be treated differently if this is the case. If you feel that you are in such a position, please do not hesitate to contact us in confidence to discuss whether some suitable arrangements can be made to cover the cost of your child’s participation.
